con la música de Jazz, Bossanova y Samba.

Comenzó  su formación  en el canto a la edad de 8 en la pequeña isla de Singapur, donde integra un coro informal en una iglesia presbiteriana. Luego de realizar 10 años de estudios en estilos clásicos de música, deseó seguir por caminos que la llevaron al jazz.
Dawn espera siempre la llegada de bellos días de inspiración, los cuales estén llenos de alegría y felicidad con lo cual pueda seguir recorriendo su pasión por "la música" del jazz actual. 




Dawn Ho , a jazz / bossa and samba singer hailing from Singapore began her informal training in singing at the tender age of 8 with The Amazing Grace Presbyterian church choir. Her vocal timbre makes her a natural in doing jazz / bossa nova and samba numbers. Her style has been described as sophisticated and vibrant with a tinge of sexiness. After 10 years of training and performing the classical and choral genre under Dr. Myna Chan, Dawn decided to follow her passion for jazz.
In 2003, Dawn quit her job as a flight stewardess for Singapore Airlines to commit her time and energy into singing full-time, engaged vocal trainer Babes Conde (Philippines/Singapore) for jazz and pop vocal training and has not looked back since.
She has performed in several countries in the region and beyond, such as Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Brunei, Taiwan, Los Angelas and even for VISA delegates at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Her hunger to better understand and execute her craft led her to New York for classes with Tania Travers, and the legendary Barry Harris in 2006. She also attended a Master class with Grammy award winning jazz vocalist, Kurt Elling.
She has just released her debut album, All in Good Time. This album sees her performing exciting covers of jazz classics from Thelonious Monk, Cole Porter, Cannonball Adderley as well as Brazilian classics from the likes of Antonio Carlos Jobim and Maria Rita. It also features 2 track remixes done by producers Kaye and Munir Alsagoff of AlterCopy. This release has gotten the support of Singapore's radio stations, one of which is Nu-Jazz radio station Lush99.5fm, of which she had several interviews with.
Dawn also collaborated with Latvian acapella supergroup COSMOS in 2007 on their English recording of the old classic shanghainese track, SHANGHAI MOONDawn has also appeared in several jazz and music festivals and events in Singapore, notably THE MOSAIC MUSIC FESTIVAL an international music festival held at Singapore's premiere concert and cultural venue, THE ESPLANADE, where she performed alongside other Singaporean and international artistes in 2005,2006 and 2007. And most recently the Singapore Jazz Festival in 2014.
Together with Michaela Therese, she also performed to a sold out concert (Young Ladies Of Jazz and Soul,) also held at the Esplanade in 2005. THE SINGAPORE FASHION FESTIVAL 2007 saw Dawn performing 'live on the catwalk' together with her music trio,”A Frequencia”, bringing their own take on Brazilian Samba and Bossa Nova.
Dawn has been featured in radio interviews on Newsradio 93.8 FM, Gold 90.5 Fm and the RSI English channel. Magazine and newspaper write-ups include articles on NEWMAN, ELLE, STRAITS TIMES, THE NEW PAPER, LIME and STUFF MAGAZINE, FHM SINGAPORE, BEAT MAGAZINE -BALI.
She has had endorsements with HTC (Touch PDA phone), Stella McCartney perfumes (STELLA) and Sky Fitness Gym.Dawn also performed for several high profile corporate events. Client list include Tiffany & Co.,Guess, Yafriro Watches, Cortina Watches, Lamborghini, Christian Lacroix for Singapore Fashion Festival, World Gourmet Summit, Olympic Games 2008 (Beijing), Formula One (Singapore) and DKNY, just to name a few.
In October 2010, Dawn toured Mexico with highly esteemed Cuban jazz pianist Gabriel Hernandez. This collaboration has lead to a recording session of the duo that following year. Since from her return from performing at the Tai Chung Jazz Festival 2011, Dawn is currently working on the release of her second album.
Currently Dawn is furthering herself by pursuing her BA HONS in Jazz Performance with Lasalle College of the Arts. Whilst working on her project bands Indigo and SxM Sextet.
